Content with Known Accessibility Issues

Heading Structure

  • Heading levels may sometimes be used in an incorrect order, for example an H4 appearing before an H2.

Alternative Text for Images

The website has significant shortcomings regarding image descriptions:

  • Alternative text may consist only of the image filename, which can be difficult for screen readers to interpret.
  • Alternative text may repeat the page title, which often results in unnecessary repetition.
  • Generic descriptions such as “Image 1” may be used, which do not convey the purpose or meaning of the image.

Keyboard Navigation

  • Some interactive elements do not receive visible keyboard focus.
  • The language switcher cannot be operated using the Tab key, and no language selection can be made through keyboard navigation.
