Henrik Mitelman is an award-winning columnist in the Swedish business daily Dagens Industri, an advisor to a variety of companies and institutions, and a well-known speaker. During the autumn months he released a new book about success, focusing on global megatrends and how we can benefit from these trends. Before starting his own firm, Henrik was global head of the bank SEB’s top rated department of research. He stayed with SEB from year 2000 until 2011, and was frequently ranked as the no 1 analyst in Sweden. During his presentation, Henrik will guide us into the future based on the global Megatrends.
We are also proud to welcome executives, who will share their experiences of successfully using pricing as a tool for generating growth and boosting profits. They will further discuss how pricing has helped them tackle challenges sprung from the aforementioned Megatrends:
Mr. Erik Broddesson, Head of Assortment development at Kjell & Company, has a solid background within strategy and operations in the areas of purchasing, product management and sales tactics. He has worked for almost 15 years at Kjell & Co and been a part of their ongoing growth journey.
Erik will discuss the challenges and opportunities of pricing in a highly transparent and competitive marketplace. His presentation will cover both the strategic and operational aspects of pricing including organization, processes and how to combine competitiveness with profitability.
Mr. Fredrik Wickström, Director of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service of Bonava Sweden, has had several roles in retail and airport services before he joined the housing industry in 2014. Bonava is a spin-off from the construction company NCC and is now a leading housing developer in Northern Europe with a turnover of 14 BSEK, including 4 BSEK from the Swedish market.
Mr. Wickström’s talk will focus on the opportunities and challenges when pricing residential homes in a turbulent market situation and the importance of balancing revenue and sales efficiency. In addition, Mr. Wickström will address the general challenges of the current housing market and its effect on society’s need for additional housing.
Ms. Lisa de Paula, CEO of LensWay Group AB, has a background as a management consultant and joined LWG in 2017 to support a merger process. Her involvement began an exciting journey to transform an archaic online company. She took on the role as CEO 2019 and is passionate about driving change through people.
Ms. Maria Hofberg, Director of Product Management and Pricing at SJ AB, is responsible for driving revenue generation and profitability improvement activities. Ms. Hofberg’s presentation focuses on how SJ works with offerings and fares to ensure both short and long-term competitiveness and profitability given shifting customer preferences driven by, for example, environmental concerns. She will discuss how SJ balances customer satisfaction, customer perceived value for money and increased market share.
Mr. Per Lidström, CEO of Cibes Lift Group, had 17 years of business experience from various management positions within Sandvik before joining Cibes Lift group in 2019. Mr. Lidström will talk about the importance of pricing in an industry that provides customized solutions to specific customer needs. In his talk he will discuss revenue leakages, how to mitigate them and how to gain short-term profit improvements. He will also illustrate the importance of a pricing strategy that grants long-term sustainable growth and profits.
